The VTA “Daycation” program is designed to help older adults learn to navigate the bus system. The Ride & Taste team, in partnership with LGS Recreation 55 Plus senior program, provides a bimonthly opportunity to take a "Daycation" in downtown Los Gatos, learn about public transportation services for older adults, take a free ride on the 27 bus and enjoy a complimentary lunch in a lovely Los Gatos restaurant. This program is supported by VTA, LGS Recreation 55 Plus, and the Town of Los Gatos community grant administered by the Los Gatos Thrives Foundation with special thanks to SASCC for initial luncheon funding.
